Manifesto
A few things that we believe in…
- Students have different paths. We recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all kinesiology path. Rather than trying to simply get students into as many classes as possible (whether they need them or not), we strive to understand who the student wants to be able to work with and to suggest the course of study that is going to serve them best.
- All modalities have a place and value. We want to eliminate competition between modalities and offer the best options to students. We acknowledge prior learning and encourage integration of modalities into something that is unique.
- Any student, regardless of where they come from or who they studied with previously, are welcome in our courses. An international school with international students. We understand that students have the right to study with whomever they like and do not try to limit or restrain their movement and progression.
- We are committed to promoting diversity within the specialized kinesiology industry. It is our goal to create an environment that feels safe, supportive and fun for people of all races, genders, ages, abilities and orientations.
- We feel that collaboration is the best way to move our entire industry forward and promote it. Our network of instructors, practitioners, and mentors are here to support each other and create the best possible learning environments – both in person and online. Slanderous or bullying behaviour is not tolerated in any way. Instructors do not compete for students, but understand that we attract those that we can help.
- Full transparency, authenticity, and accountability. We understand that we are doing things differently than they have been done in the past. We know we might make mistakes as we shake things up, but it is all on the table and we are doing our best to move forward with highest integrity.
- This is meant to be joyful and fun! This is the best career in the world and we are happy to have you here! Our number one priority is the wellbeing of students, practitioners and instructors as a community.
