CLASS DESCRIPTION
“Life is too fast and subtle to be explained by slow movements of chemical reactions and nerve impulses.”
With this sentence, the great Hungarian biologist Albert Szent-Györgyi (Nobel Prize for Medicine) meant that in order to sustain Life, our organism needs very fast and precise ways of communication and the current explanations of biology and medicine aren’t sufficient. The foundations of life do not rest only on biochemistry and neurology!
Precisely for this reason in recent years biologists have changed the way of seeing cells, giving more and more importance to the Extra Cellular Matrix (ECM) or simply called the Living Matrix. The Cellular Matrix is directly connected to the Extra Cellular Matrix which connects to all the connective tissues of the body. Hence, every single cell is connected to all the other cells in the body! It is a dynamic network, which extends to the whole body and allows a very rapid propagation of information. It is the place where the nervous system, the endocrine system and the immune system interact directly with each other.
The Living Matrix also has numerous biochemical and electromagnetic properties and, obviously, also energetic. As the Living Matrix is the structural basis of life, in the same way the energetic basis of life are the 8 Extraordinary Meridians. These Meridians are the fundamental energetic aspect, which control our most vital aspects, in fact, in them we will find a specific type of energy which is called Jing and has to do with the genetic code, embryological development, the function of the reproductive organs, fertility, pregnancy, menstruation and hormonal functions. The imbalance of these meridians will determine problems that will accompany us throughout our life, while correcting them and bringing them back to the right balance will change our destiny.
To work on these meridians we need a different approach than the usual Kinesiological Muscle-Meridian relationship. We need to work on the “Solid” structures of the body that contain Jing energy: Bones, Joints and Teeth. Precisely because the Extraordinary Meridians are directly connected to the “Structure”, to balance them, we will need to work on the structure and therefore on the Extra Cellular Matrix and to do this we will use the osteopathic/craniosacral technique called Unwinding, specific Acupuncture points (the Key Points) and other kinesiological techniques.
This class will bring your work to a new level, interacting with the body in a new way, helping you to understand deeply Traditional Chinese Medicine and to be able to work on innate and congenital imbalances, coordinating the Psycho-Neuro-Endocrine-Immune System (PNEI).
This class is a fundamental prerequisite to continue the journey in K-Physis and with all Marco Rado’s work. A lot of time is also dedicated to practice on the different bones and joints, the so called, Osteopatic Keys.

SCHEDULING
K-Physis classes are either taught in-person or online at a specific time with an instructor. Students will be expected to have cameras on and someone to work with for this class (the instructor can offer more details about what times you may need a partner.) While you can register for the class using the button on the right, you may wish to check the Events page to see when this class is running next.
BIOGRAPHY
Marco Rado hails from the scenic town of Bergamo, in the Lombardy region of Italy. With a background in physiotherapy, Marco began his kinesiology journey 30 years ago, utilising many modalities, in particular, Applied Physiology, that has studied in the USA and Germany.
With a passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine and manual therapies such as osteopathy and fascial manipulation, Marco has broadened his studies in these areas to increase his knowledge and skills.
In 2003, he began writing his own courses, integrating western science and traditional eastern medicine.
While he still teaches Applied Physiology, he also has created 15 workshops, that used to go under the name of Integrative Physiology, but now he has changed it with K-Physis.
Marco, together with his wife Monica, has founded his professional college “Physis – International Institute of Kinesiology” where he teaches Applied Physiology and all his own classes.
He’s also co-author of the first Kinesiology WebApp, called Knowlative – Cooperative Knowledge.
